PROFILE

I have been working as a Museum Educator at the Fitzwilliam Museum for the last nine years. Since completing teacher training in 2002 I have worked as a Primary and Nursery teacher and undertaken post-graduate training in both Museum Studies and Early Childhood. Currently I lead on the Early Years programme at The Fitzwilliam Museum, striving for authentic connections between young children and great artworks. As a member of the RSA Evidence Champions Network, I have a keen interest in the use of rigorous, ethically-generated research data to inform and develop pedagogical practice in museum education.
